Meet Sheridan Mish, DC, CCSP®

Professional

Dr. Sheridan Mish graduated from New York Chiropractic College in March of 1999. He has been a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association since March of 2008 and become certified in the Webster Technique as the standard of care for pregnant women in December 2008. Then in 2009 Dr. Mish achieved designation as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner® through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.

Dr. Mish has been in private practice since 1999. The first 11 of years the practice was in downtown Canastota before moving the office to Wampsville. Since 2014 Dr. Mish has had a second practice location in Utica. Then in March 2021, Dr. Mish opened the third LifePower Chiropractic location in Long Lake.

Most recently in June 2021, Dr. Mish took over the practice of Dr. Joe Dockery in Saranac Lake and he turned it into the fourth LifePower Chiropractic location.

Since he began practicing chiropractic, Dr. Mish has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes including Pediatric, Perinatal and Family Wellness; Sports Performance Enhancement; Pediatric Neurology; Chiropractic Bio Physics Technique; Sacro-Occipital Technique; Extremity Adjusting Technique; Golf Performance Enhancement; The Science of Wellness; and Ethics and Recordkeeping, thereby ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care.

In the past, Dr. Mish has branched off into educating the profession and he has presented his Athlete Cervical Spine Injury & Rehab continuing education program to over 250 chiropractors across New York State and Dallas, TX.

Personal

Dr. Sheridan Mish was raised in West Utica by his parents Andy and Millie. Growing up the oldest of 3 brothers, he is thankful for his brothers Aaron and Emerson. He married his high school sweetheart Irene in 1996. Dr. Mish had lived in Canastota from 1999-2013, then from 2013-2021 resided in New Hartford, and in March 2021 moved to Long Lake as a year round resident. Dr. Mish and his wife Irene have three children, Alison, Andrew, & Autumn

He enjoys chess, golfing, swimming, cycling, running, as well as coaching and playing ice hockey. Having completed a number of Central New York triathlons, Dr. Mish is also a two time Ironman Wisconsin finisher.

Meet Dr. Jordan Romeo

Dr. Jordan Romeo grew up in Utica, NY with his parents Nicole and Nicolas. He has one older brother and two younger sisters. He graduated from New Hartford High School in 2016, where he played on the lacrosse and hockey teams. Dr. Romeo attended Mohawk Valley Community College where he worked in the athletic training room and achieved an associates degree. Dr. Romeo then attended Northeast College of Health Sciences and completed his clinical schooling at the Depew Health Center in Depew, NY. While attending Northeast College of Health Sciences, Dr. Romeo obtained his bachelor’s degree in professional studies. He later graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in July of 2023. In addition to being a licensed chiropractor, Dr. Romeo is a member of the New York Chiropractic Council, the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association, and is certified in Webster technique.

Dr. Romeo joined the LifePower Chiropractic team in 2022. As part of his extensive training, Dr. Romeo traveled to all four LifePower Chiropractic locations and served their communities. You can find Dr. Romeo in the Utica and Wampsville offices where he works full-time. When he is not busy at the LifePower offices, Dr. Romeo enjoys cooking, gardening, playing guitar, hiking, cycling, walking, and spending time with his family. Dr. Romeo is also passionate about dogs and enjoys spending time with his rescued dog Jazmine. Dr. Romeo is committed to helping people and is happy to be part of the LifePower Chiropractic team.

Meet Irene Mish

Irene is a Central New York native growing up in East Utica and graduating high school from Notre Dame. After graduation she continued her studies at Cayuga Community College earning an Associates Degree in Office Administration.

Irene is the Director of Office Operations for LifePower Chiropractic and has been a part of the practice since September 2000.

Irene is also the loving wife of Dr. Mish and mother of their 3 children, Alison, Andrew, and Autumn. Irene enjoys cooking homemade meals from scratch for her family.

In her spare time Irene has often enjoyed watching her children’s sports, played golf, gone camping, working out, and running. She completed the Wineglass Marathon, on September 30, 2007.

Since she started living in Long Lake, Irene has enjoyed more outdoor Adirondack adventurous activities including boating, canoeing, swimming, hiking, and snowshoeing.

As of recent Irene has been spending more time on real estate property and management, she has completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training through My Vinyasa Practice, is a certified Intuitive Life Coach, a Usui Reiki Master, and a doTERRA essential oils ambassador.

Shelli Romanowski

Shelli is a native of Central New York growing up in Remsen and graduating from Remsen Senior High.

Shelli lives in Remsen with her boyfriend Chris and sons Jack and Tucker.

When not involved with family activities, Shelli spends her time with a passion for caring for animals and plants, plus also enjoys expressing her creative side through crafts.

Shelli started working at LifePower Chiropractic in August 2021 and is the front desk administrator for the Utica and Wampsville locations, but may also assist at the Saranac Lake and Long Lake locations as well.

Prior to joining the LifePower Chiropractic team Shelli worked in multiple locations for a well established local cardiology group.

Before that, Shelli worked for many years for a top national insurance company servicing health related claims.

Alison Mish

Alison is a native of Central New York growing up in Canastota. She graduated from Canastota Senior High where she played varsity soccer and softball.

While not offered as a school sport, Alison was an accomplished ice hockey player as part of multiple club teams over the years including CNY Storm, Rome Grizzlies, Syracuse Stars, Mohawk Valley Comets, and CNY Bobcats.

After high school Alison attended Buffalo State majoring in Communications while she played 4 years as defense for the Varsity Women’s Ice Hockey team helping them to qualify for the playoffs in her last 3 seasons.

Alison currently lives in Utica and when not participating in family activities she spends her time caring for her hamster and two cats.

Alison started working at LifePower Chiropractic in November 2019 and is the patient records administrator for the Utica and Wampsville locations, but sometimes assists at the Saranac Lake and Long Lake locations as well.

Alison also is the social media director for all four LifePower Chiropractic locations.

Prior to joining the LifePower Chiropractic team Alison worked a few years at Carmella’s Restaurant in New Hartford where she was the pasta maker for all the fresh pasta they served.

Alison currently may also be seen working part-time as bartender on weekends at the Whitestown American Legion Post 1113.

Alison is the oldest of Irene and Dr. Mish’s three children.

Financial

Chiropractic care is available for everyone whether you have insurance or not. Our fees are not cheap, but the experience and results speak for themselves so we will do everything we can to make the necessary services affordable through monthly payment arrangements. If you do have insurance we will be more than happy to provide you with all the necessary insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or credit card.

Appointments

If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone or by filling out the appointment request form on our website. Our office is responsive to communications and facilitates appointment needs. Questions are welcome from existing patients as well as new patients seeking help.

Cancellation

If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient.
